Anna graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Australia in 1993. Following Articles of Clerkship, Anna was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1994, and then to the High Court as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1998. After moving to Brisbane, Anna worked as a Consultant Solicitor at Jones McCarthy Lawyers from 2008 to 2013.

Anna was called to the Bar in Queensland in 2014.

Anna is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and speaks Italian fluently.
